Fantastic place! Staff are very welcoming from the moment you check in, and the dorm rooms have great facilities. My first time at a hostel I was anxious to share a dorm but Gilligan’s exceeded expectations. I felt incredibly safe during my stay after I had to move to Gilligan’s from my initial accommodation, which wasn’t so safe. But I stepped into Gilligan’s and slept easy! The beds are very comfortable, be assured room service is there every day to keep the room in check, the balcony was an outstanding feature. If you’re on level 2 it might be noisy at night but it’s a party hostel after all and just adds to the atmosphere. Bar staff were friendly, the events were awesome. Great location right in the heart of the CBD. Book it you won’t be disappointed!
